To finish off the Corey Barker week I am going to highlight two great resources – Corey in the flesh at Photoshop World and his first book ‘Photoshop Down and Dirty Tricks for Designers’.
Firstly I will touch on Photoshop World – I could write so much about this event that happens twice a year on the East coast and West coasts of the USA. Usually Vegas and Orlando, occassionally the East Coast one changes location, being held in Washington DC this past March, which I attended with a group from the UK. We will be descending on Orlando in April next year for the next East Coast event, although the West Coast one in Vegas will take place between 5-7th September – I seriously recommend a visit to a Photoshop World – THE best Photoshop experience you will have. Corey always has his own classes and luckily for all you designers, not a single photography class. You will see from the above graphic that Corey covers different aspects of design from basic selections to more complex 3D – Corey has a very easy and enthusiastic style of presentation, a real pleasure to follow and completely inspiring.
One of the classes is for the Down and Dirty Tricks, the title of Corey’s first published book written by himself. I actually have two copies myself, one on my iPad and a hard copy so that I have two options of reading, wherever I am, and follow the tutorials. The great thing about this book is that you can follow the tutorial but try these skills out on other projects which Corey covers at the end of each chapter. This book is full of “Wow”. You will certainly take your own design arsenal up a notch if you get your hands on this fantastic book – available here
Full details of the book are here

Thanks for reading this week, my Evangelist responsibilities are to champion all things NAPP, Kelby Training, Kelby TV, Photoshop World and also I am proud to be an Adobe Influencer – primarily promoting Photoshop products and services.
If you would like to win a prize, EITHER – The official Photoshop World Workbook for 2012 OR The Corey Barker DVD ‘Type Effects’ for Photoshop (CS2-CS5) then just comment below your favourite Corey Barker resource, tutorial or video. I will pick a winner on 31st August 2012 and announce here. Sadly, due to shipping and the fact I represent the UK for NAPP this competition is only open to UK and Europe followers. You lovely US people get lots of NAPP love and competitions already ;o)
I have a special bonus post to follow this weekend so keep ‘em peeled as we say here ….
Lastly, thanks to all the supporters of NAPPMEMBER UK and Corey Barker for all the design inspiration. Corey, please keep away from cameras !!!

To be honest Corey has so many amazing tips and tricks to name just one.
I can say that his rain effect and water drop effect are great. O plus so many 3D items he has as well.
Now look I’ve already named a few.
