It’s Photoshop World week again!!

Two years ago I visited my first ever Photoshop World (Part 1) (Part 2) and it really was a life changing experience, now that sounds a bit corny but so much good has happened in my life from the contacts and experiences I had there that it really has influenced my life. I have made amazing friends, learnt so much, it has even helped me get a job.

On my first day I met a guy who I am so pleased to say has become one of my great friends, albeit long distance, but with social media, email and the yearly meet up at subsequent Photoshop Worlds he’s a guy I have gained a lot of respect for and he is a super talented concert photographer, brilliant author and first class chap – Mr Alan Hess @shotlivephoto.

Alan and Scott Diussa hold a pre-con Concert Shoot Workshop each Photoshop World and I attended it this past March in Washington DC – Alan and Scott absolutely rocked it (excuse the pun). We then went on to shoot Scott Kelby’s band “Big Electric Cat” to put theory into practice. Each person could submit their best shot and the winner walked away with a Nikon D7000 – this PSW the winner will get a D800 !!! Take this pre-con if you ever go to a Photoshop World.
